    Juan Carlos Piñeiro Was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the 26 of June in 1954. He carried out his studies of Architecture in the Escuela Técnica Superior of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He combines de Architectural designs with the Business World. He opened the Camper Shoe Shops for the Canary Islands and also “Modus Vivendi” for men. He made the designs of the first “Bounty” shops. He alternates between the complicated world of fashion and his big interest about plants and gardening in general, creating a landscaping enterprise and making gardens for a big amount of hotels located in tourist areas in all the Canary Islands, doing at the same time numerous designs for privates.     Irma Piñeiro Doblado

    Irma Piñeiro Doblado Was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the 6 of December in 1981. She carried out her studies in the Pureza de María and Luther King School. In 2001 she began her studies of Architecture in London South Bank University, finishing the Undergraduate BaHons Architecture Degree in 2004. She completed her studies with the Post Graduate Diploma of Architecture in 2007, entering her father studio. After finishing the first cycle of her studies, during the course 2005/06, she did the University practises in her father office in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and also in Egypt offices visiting the different work sites. He combines de Architectural designs with the Business World. He opened the Camper Shoe Shops for the Canary Islands and also “Modus Vivendi” for men. He made the designs of the first “Bounty” shops. He alternates between the complicated world of fashion and his big interest about plants and gardening in general, creating a landscaping enterprise and making gardens for a big amount of hotels located in tourist areas in all the Canary Islands, doing at the same time numerous designs for privates. He collaborates with his brother Andres in the construction of different projects of Architecture in the eighties, mainly located in “Los Gigantes urbanization”: Las Mimosas Apartments, Jacaranda, El Pino, etc., as well as in Las Americas “the Royal Garden Hotel” and the Sol Sun Beach in Fañabe, all of them directed to the tourist area and with a distinctive architectural style and characterized by the use of the traditional Canary style. This own style created by the two brothers, culminated with the development of different designs of the Bahia del Duque Hotel and its opening in 1993, moment in which he enters definitely in his brother studio.

During the next 11 years the studio receives orders to do new projects of elevated importance, not only in island of Tenerife but also worldwide. In countries like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, and Bahamas,… Stands out in this period the opening in 1998 of the Grand Resort, this hotel is located in Hurghada, by the Red Sea; the Gran Melia Volcan in Lanzarote; the Villa Cortes Hotel in Las Americas and also the Mirador del Duque are inaugurated. During the visit of construction works in Egypt, in May of 2004, a mortal accident took his brother Andres´s life. From this moment on, he gives continuity to the studio making new projects as the Fishing Lodge in the Dominican Republic and the Bacunayagua Hotel in Cuba. He develops the works in Egypt with the opening of three new hotels: Makady Palace, located in Makady Bay, Red Sea; Gazhala Gardens which suffered a terrorist attack in August of 2005 and the Grand Sharm, both hotels located in Sharm el Sheik a tourist area by the Red Sea, at the same time he receives orders for new projects as six hotels in Sahl Hasheesh; Pyramids, Al-Andalus... in Makady Bay, the Makady Spa and the Makady Castle and also by the Mediterranean Coast the Gran Alamein. He opens the Villa del Conde Hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria; with its traditional canary architecture becomes a tourist reference Hotel in the island. In Lanzarote, the Dream Castle Hotel of Lanzarote is inaugurated, another reference of the traditional architecture of the place in contrast with the white and red of its ground, even this rocks seem to belong to the architecture. The Rubicon Marine, one of the most important marines of the Islands. This project is integrated with a commercial village that reminds a traditional fishing village of the Lanzarote Island. In Alicante the Real de Faula, now Villa Aitana, composed by two five stars hotel located in the theme-park Terra Mitica. Its traditional architecture gives it a Mediterranean atmosphere, recovering old buildings of the area, as the Almudín, the Aldea Church and the Consistorial House, creating a small village with its square.

In 2007, in the Dominican Republic the Sanctuary Hotel is opened in the heavenly area of Capcana with its colonial architecture with Caribbean elements. His daughter Irma enters the studio after finishing her studies of Architecture in London South Bank University in 2007. Nowadaysboth are building the Buenavista Golf Hotel in Tenerife, the Fishing Lodge Hotel in the Dominican Republic and several hotels.
